Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the 2Work marketplace ("2Work", "we", "us"), operated by 2Work. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. What 2Work is

2Work is an online marketplace that connects project hosts ("Clients") with independent freelance professionals ("Freelancers") for milestone-based project work. 2Work is not a party to the contract for services between a Client and a Freelancer; we provide the platform, verification, workflow, and payment-facilitation tools.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate information and complete email, identity, and (for Clients) payment verification before posting projects, submitting proposals, or transacting. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Projects, proposals, and contracts

Clients post projects with a defined scope, budget, and milestones. Freelancers submit proposals. When a proposal is accepted, a contract with one or more milestones is created. Work is delivered, reviewed, and accepted per milestone.

4. Payments, milestones, and settlement

Project funds are collected from the Client and held against a milestone before work begins, and are released to the Freelancer after the Client accepts the milestone, through our third-party payment provider. Card and bank details are handled solely by the PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider; 2Work does not store full payment instrument data. Settlement actions occur only on confirmed payment-provider events.

5. Fees

2Work charges a platform commission of 10% on amounts settled to Freelancers. Fees are described on our Pricing page. Payment-provider charges may also apply.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: circumvent the platform or its fees; post unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; share another party's personal, payment, or confidential information; attempt to defraud, scrape, or disrupt the service; or use 2Work for any illegal purpose. Do not place passwords, full identification documents, or bank details in project text, messages, or deliverables.

7. Disputes

Milestone disputes may be raised by either party and are reviewed by 2Work administrators, who may direct release or refund. Any settlement change requires confirmation from the payment provider. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties, deliverables accepted and paid for transfer to the Client on full payment. The 2Work name, brand, and platform remain our property.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, fail verification, or present fraud or compliance risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2Work is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality, or conduct of Clients or Freelancers, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the commission we earned on the transaction giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the location of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
